World Youth Skills Day -2021
On the occasion of #WorldYouthSkillsDay, we pay tribute to the resilience and creativity demonstrated by African youths in the face of sociopolitical and economic challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we emerge from this crisis, we urge governments to rebuild public trust and collaborate with development partners, investors, and policy makers to create enabling environment for sustainable development programs that can harness the skills of young people for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship.
Let us all channel our energies, regardless of our differing backgrounds and political leanings, to resolve these issues and produce fundamental change.
Happy #WorldYouthSkillsDay
